What Is STEP UP?
S-T-E-P-U-P stands for Stop Teacher Exodus Please, United Parents.
We are a Not-for-Profit, issue oriented organization of united parents and concerned citizens who want a quality education for students in West Virginia public schools.
-We research to understand the challenges in education.
-We present these challenges to our fellow West Virginians.
-We meet with local and state officials and with education organizations.
-We coordinate efforts to improve "student learning," by advocating for qualified teachers and adequate resources, and by seeking competitive salaries.
STEP UP wants to unite West Virginians to stand together for the "student learning" opportunity they deserve.
